ok to be quite honest im surprised there hasnt been a thread on this topic earlier, so here goes

if you did download the demo tell us what you thought about it

personally i love it, even if at the moment theres only 1 map to maim people on, the tweaks and changes add more "realism" to the whole experience and frankly i've been convinced, roll on 11 days time

Me and Mr. Peanuts were talking about it. It is really good, I just don't see the need in making this "2". It should be called like Battlefield: 2010 or something, because this is like the 3rd one.

Desert Combat is pretty fun, but I do love this new BF2 demo. I just wish my video card wouldn't crap itself over when trying to run it.

Yeah, awesome demo, I was waiting for it to be totally crap and tweaked so much that it doesn't feel like BF anymore.

Gonna buy it, but I need some HDD space freed. :/

i like the 1942 desert combat mod, but Battlefield: 2010 ^-^ just seems to have a lot more to offer

its quite a hefty download, about 500Mb but you can get it off Xfire download system, but i got it off here:-
