You know what would rule, if all the companies bought eachother and made ONE SUPER SYSTEM TO RULE ALL SYSTEMS.

That was tried and it was called The Phantom and that didnt go so well.
I'm hoping that Nintendo goes the way of Sega and gives up on consoles so that they can focus on games

That will never happen... Nintendo has already said the day they stop making consoles is the day they are no longer in the game industry, period.

"There are those who said this day would never come. What have they to say now?"
          .Halo.

Y'know... if you were any stupider, I swear death by laughter would be a real medical occurance.

And Hideo Kojima said he'd retire from directing Metal Gear after every iteration of "Solid" and he's come back each time. In a recient interview he said he'd keep directing til the day he dies. He was basically just messing with all the fans. If Nintendo was forced into it, they'll goto third party gaming ... which is kinda funny, since they're so weird with their third-party policy.

                First post here Hi...

Personally I don't see any problem with the design of the new system. The reason why I bought a gamecube over PS2 and XBox was because I thought the games were actually fun. I'm an emulator fan, so top of the line graphics and sound only go so far for me. I want a game that I'll actually enjoy. PS2 (and 3) have some, but not in my oppinion, nearly the same amount that Gamecube does. I still would like to see some harder difficulties though than I've seen in the past few years. If they could master making a learning curve that's gentle, yet still have enough of a challenge to make a game replayable for a long while.

My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.

I think it's better for the consumer to have the possibility of choice: it keeps the quality good, it keeps the prices down and everybody "gets their own thing" meaning if you don't like one console, you could always get the other one.

I'm going to get a Revolution either way, mostly to download all the classics and play them once again. I'll get some new games as well, but probably not nearly as many as I did with the N64 and GCN.

I'll probably get a PS3 eventually as well for newer games.
                      I'm back.

If I get anything (which I seriously doubt I will) it will be a Revolution. Simply put, PS2 games interest me very little other than the big hit ones like GTA, Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid, etc. Even those have little replay value. I'm just a Nintendo kid for life.

PS: Zelda is the best game ever created.

I like a lot of the role playing games on the PS2, I only wish I had that with my gamecube. There's nothing for me though on the Xbox.

Tell me that doesn't make you want to play SNES.

Not really... Now if I heard that Digital Devil Story was translated into English and playable by me, then I'd want to
