last thread about bees and me: http://forums.trenchwars.org/showthread.php?t=13008

Okey, its summer again, love the summer, much pollen in the air, gets my eyes dripping in the morning, thick air.. can't complain with that and of course bees, omg bees.

So this other day I came home, just opened the window. Since it was hot I just thought about opening the window abit more the usually. My window is a double window, so it has a lock between the two windows. So I unlock, so that I can open the window(s) wider. Okey, so I go away from my room. And when I come back, there is this lovely bee between the two windows. So I lock the windows again, close the window. So here I'm again, thinking, how will I get that bastard.

The first thing I do is just try to hit it with a newspaper, kinda impossible, since the gap between the windows are pretty small. Of course the bee gets angry, and I shut the window again. Then my nerves comes in, so I take a deodorant spray, and just unlease the heavenly scent (axe dimension, smells like poop) on the bee, doesn't work. So the bee goes back and forth between the windows.

Eventually at somepoint, after 10 min of struggle, I get it down, it can fly now with all of the greasy deo on its wings. :> So now is the problem to kill it, its still hard to hit it with the newspaper, so I try and try until the little bastard gets between the opening gap of the window, on the side, where the wood meets. So I'm like, hurray, die pest. I go proudly to the kitchen, come back, and just to make sure if its dead, I check the window. AND its _STILL_ there! unhurt! Lucky son of a beequeen!

So open up the whole window, after sparying the living bee life of him, take the newspaper, and bang. Dead. Of course I was happy about it. And I say to the bee, don't come back, I take a paper and toss it out of my window, and continue with my life. :|

bees, I hate em! Always the same thing every summer! :>

I'm not really scared of the bees, I just don't like to get stung by one. I've had too many times of experience to get stung by a bee, once I stepped on one, bare foot, once I got stung by a groundbee, much more painful then a ordinary bee stung, on my stomage. Once walking in the forest, getting 2 stungs on my left hand, while noticing that I had like 3-4 bees at my glove (left hand). More I can't remember, but since those time, I haven't been much of a fan for the bees.. :>

          agreed.

but then people wouldn't get that sudden rush of adrenaline and pride that comes with killing small animals

You really should have just left the window open, it would have flew out of it eventually.

Better than killing a defenceless creature, however you were scared so I guess you can't be blamed too much.

Amok, intects my friend, intects, not animals. And I don't get adrenaline rushes from killing a bee, and there is no pride in killing a animal, in this case a insect.

Well, I always try to let em out. But usually my eyes just goes red when I see em in my room. I guess there is little fear in it, deep inside of me, after all the other bee stings, that I don't want em to come near me. And killing the bee seem like a good option to me in those siuation, if the bee is trapped inside of my room.

The window in this case, is very near my computer, the window actually hits my monitor when fully opened. And in that case I was going to just sit down, relax and maybe do something at my computer. So letting bee be there, and let the window be open, chances are that I would eventually have the bee flying near my face, if so then I would surely try to get it off me with my hand. This would make the bee angry for sure. :>

So the options I had was slim, try cathing a bee between two narrow windows. I mean sure I wanna spend 30min trying to catch it, then just rahter kill it.

Disliked, I was more furious then scared, mixed with some fear as I said. Also tired from work and cranky to get something going on with my computer. :>

When I was in the third grade, a hornet landed on me during recess. I was frozen in fear as the thing just crawled across my face.
