That's why i am so afraid to experience any mmorpg -_- it sounds dumb. Like you have to do the same thing overand over to get points to get more skills and then get money to buy weapons... it's not realistic!?!
That's why im a bit afraid of spending 50 € on a game and then give up after 15 minutes -_- i might try one of those trials when i have enough spare time.

Dragnarok Online, I just noticed from the site, you actually download the korean version of ragnarok online, then install and update em, then you install Dragnarok Online.

1. You need to download and install the KRO client, and the Korean Sakra Client. These files are large, feel free to get some coffee.

You can not use any other client but these!

KRO Clients Setups:

2. Once you download the clients install them.

3. Once installed run the RO client and allow it to patch completely.
Then run tne sakra client and allow it to patch too. This may take some time also!

4. Once both clients are installed and updated you can now download the Dragnarok Online Client! Download the client by clicking here.

5. You will need to extract all three zip files into your main KRO folder, this folder is often found in the location: "C:\Program Files\Gravity\RO\"

6. Sorry refer to news post on front page to find out how to register for now! Once you have completed all those steps you can now register your account.
You can register your account at: http://dragnarok.no-ip.info/reg/

Users are only permitted one account and that is all.

8. Once your account is ready, go to the dragnarok client exe file, and activate it, you will now be able to login and create a character. Enjoy and welcome to Dragnarok.

Nah... i downloaded eve online and started to play it!! well even at the tutorial i got bored... i've done the first 5 missions and all i've done was mining stupid asteroids doing courier missions and visiting and getting lost in dozen different systems and space stations... so i gave up after playing one hour or so. Pretty boring... in ss you dont have to build your ship or any of that crap... you just shoot the others. It's simple and you don't need to think to much. Although eve's graphics are AWESOME. I might try to give it a second chance but i know i probably wont play it...

Eve bored the fuck out of me too, so don't feel too bad. It's not for everyone, I don't know. COH bored me at lvl 5, seeing as how I kept dying when trying to do the main quest offered to me, and I was getting tired of beating up the same thugs over and over again.

MMO'S are just time wasters, nothing more. Not saying that as a bad thing, just know that they are made to drag shit on.

but at least in other MMORPGs you can have quests to do and more weapons and skills and stuff. Guild Wars looks good, as well as WoW (altho i have never played)

Yeah eve online bored me too, I've played alot of MMORPG's in my time however I have only carried on playing a few of them after the trial ended.

The first of these was Neocron, a refreshing game because it combined FPS and MMORPG elements (the combat wasn't turn based, just point and click) however the game lacked plot and missions and generally things to do other than hunt.

The second of these was Final Fantasy XI, a beautiful game with a shot load to do, updated often with quests and such, brilliant. However, I quit because I got bored, sure there's a lot to do but you can't do it on your own and you'll be waiting for hours just for a party.

Hmm, I thought there was more than those 2 but I guess not. In 2006, another MMORPG will be released; Star Trek Online. I'm such a dork but I can't wait for this, lol.

You can call this game an alternative FPS game. It's like in the Hong Kong movies, where people runs across the wall, runs straight up the wall, tumble around, you got badass uzis and rifles, and best of all! SWORDS, KATANAS, AND DOUBLE KATANAS. :wub: :wub: :wub:
Sound lame when i tell about this game, but its seriously good, and great fun. Only require like 500 Mhz or something.
May be full servers sometimes, since the lame Koreans try to play for free at the international beta. And beware of Brazilians (lame BR tag), they're laggots no matter which game they're in, in SS too.
