    as some of you know, ive read a few futurist books. my impression is that nanotechnology should allow for bigger change and engineering than computers do now compared to the 1940s.

      Is that Fuzzy Future about the Algae computer? Algae computers are alive, so can have souls, so we've got spiritual machines. Huh?

      Even then you still have to deal with time dilation.
      Not a problem if we can create a time machine of some sort. Its simple really. All we need to do is construct a black hole, a white hole, cut their singularities in half and stick them together, oscillate the black hole part back and forth at the speed of light and hold it open via exotic matter/energy.

      Hang on, what's history? A space shuttle? Yeah... like that one a few years ago... thats history.
