I don't know what PS2 will be doing with the PS3, software wise that will make me go "wow, I need that".
What I've seen so far, for PS3 is..
New Metal Gear
New Final Fantasy
New Gran Tourismo
New Tekken
New Devil May Cry
New japanese game we won't get in the US
New Resident Evil
New Killzone (The trailer is Pre-Rendered: btw)
And some other games that are multi-platform (Full Auto, King Kong, Scarface, The Godfather?)
Now the Xbox...
New Ghost Recon
New Project Gotham
New Dead or Alive
New Halo
etc* etc* etc*
They already have established who is gonna go with what software is already popular with who. The key is what new series are they gonna unveil for their console to get new people into it and people to jump ship.
So far, I'm liking the new Xbox 360 game, "Gears of War" made by CliffyB and company. And I do wish that I had 2 things with my PS2 that I coulda had on my Xbox. 1. Better online play, and 2... this may sound petty, but I loved being able to listen to my own soundtracks in a game.
Xbox Live > PS Online ... by far, you can't contest it, and that's what I want.
And I'm sorry, Nintendo has a snowball's chance in hell with anyone over the age of 16.
