You downloaded the SPC's. They won't open in Winamp unless you get a plugin. Alternatively you can just get an SPC player.

I know I was looking through the new posts and didn't read this title, but as I hit pae 2 I thought I saw SNES(it wasn't capitalized so I didn't notice it) so I read it and was like holy shit.

I definitely recommend going for the spcs, there are some on zophar, top gear is most likely on there. snesmusic.org is where I gather all my soundtracks and usually copmany year and composer information as well as a track list and playlist time and all the numbers that crunch down to 65k a song.

ITT in this thread I will spam the links to some sick ass soundtracks. I can even put reviews on the end of each one so they dont b& mi.

It may be better to play the game and hear it as you're running into the Inn to heal so you can fight 18million more monsters before you level once and it's not going to be enough to get through the part where you have to go. I guarantee it's something you haven't heard before otherwise.

Fast beat and what could possibly be described as catchy, this will probably apply to the majority of this list. Supersonic is decent but nowhere near as good as the first.

                  http://www.snesmusic.org/v2/profile....selected=14066
Jun Ishikawa opens his debut on the roman alphabetical order of all his other works and pulls no stops. This is the best soundtrack of all in my opinion and the greatest musical composition of any kind. The game isn't bad either if not a bit tough, it wasn't released in English but there is a trans. Happens to be the only Halken game published by Squaresoft instead of Nintendo I believe.

I think the game was made by yaoi fangirls or something and the composer probably is one. The music isn't fast but it's more melodic. There may be nothing fantastic past the first 3 tracks though, can't remember, I'm listening to Aerobiz.

Ishikawa and Ando lay down some tunes for this early Halken first person dungeon crawler. I have to put it in here because its Jun even though it may be the least favorite of mine.

Ok, now you absolutely have to pay attention. The american tracks are the worst thing to ever hit spc, the japanese ones are actual songs. Top tier shoot em up music.

I couldn't imagine any other music could have come from a game about mode7 hover rocket cars. I'd recommend playing through the game to hear the music instead of going for the spcs, it'll save you time when you jump for your emulator.

Simple RPG that no one liked. I guess people feel insulted when they're not too busy looking at bullshit to notice themselves. The music is good and the game isn't that god awful at all.

Mind you kondo didn't do Link's Awakening so you figure this one out for yourselves for once eh?

[Edit: Yeah sorry Koji, I kind of stiffed your ass out of my previous list along with Soyo Oka, Taro Bando, and shit I think even maybe Himano? I thought I'd included Super Metroid though, looking back, nope. Fuck, well I was being pretty exclusive on the list and just wanted to list something quick. There's a lot of it but I'd figured everyone had already known about them at this point, being any kind of player of SNES titles let alone someone who fancies themself as having a good understanding of the library. Who the fuck hasn't played if not still doesn't play Super Mario Kart Pilotwings Zelda 3 and Mario Paint? P.S.-Big fucking ups to Hirokazu Tanaka for laying down the tunes on spc with the fucking mouse game and the single biggest soundtrack on the system weighing in at 10MBs at ~66kb a song, EARTHBOUND.]
