same here, first night i got Final Fantasy 8 for the PS, was there for at least 8 hours
eventually turned it off coz it crashed on me

Oh, and PS would be generally safer than a computer. You're usually further away from a TV screen when playing PS.

For some reason I think it's much safer to play 50 hours of PS than 50 hours behind a computer...
