      I resent that statement.

And you want a source, T0ne? Try the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Here, I'll even give you a link:

      http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/05235/558378.stm

Or what about the Pittsburgh Tribute-Review:

      http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/search/s_365979.html
or this article in which protest leaders acknowledge that one protester did indeed assault a photographer, though they want to detract blame from him:
      http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/search/s_366391.html

Neither source talked about armed police officers using tasers on the crowd but on one individual. Whether they were right to do so, the papers left to the reader to decide. They did not take a side on that issue, and that's what you need from a reliable source of news: an impartial view. Everything you've presented has lacked that impartiality. Both the Post-Gazette and the Tribute-Review are recognized newspapers and are credible sources. A website like www.dailykos.com (get it? "Daily Chaos"?) is not.

Now how does "reading reliable sources" make me Hitler? Have I said anything to insult you personally here? Are you really that desperate that you have to pull out the most cliched and hyperbolic of Internet insults? And are you seriously using Hitler as an insult while at the same time taking the word of a guy calling himself "Free Zundel Now", referring to Ernst Zundel who is a holocaust denier and a supporter of Hitler and wrote a tract entitled "The Hitler We Loved and Why"?

VIDEO CLIP: POLICE TASER ANTI WAR PROTESTERS (Clip, pics, story at link above)

Police in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania used tasers, attack dogs and pepper spray to disperse a crowd of nonviolent protesters who had organized to shut down the local military recruiting station. Here is video of a woman, already subdued on the ground and surrounded by police officers, being shot with a taser. A 68 year old woman was bitten by a police dog and hospitalized. There were several other hospitalizations and at least six arrests. (video may take a minute or two to load)

            She looked pretty uncooperative there.

I liked the "Fuck the pigs" chant though.

I like how he changed his signature again to reflect something that I did not say or even imply. All I said was that the source Tone quoted was misleading. The facts show that to be an accurate statement. I even said that the officer who used the taser deserves investigation and that the use of the taser was excessive, but that turned into proof that I am FOR police brutality.

Why do I like that he did that? Because he did the exact same thing that his "source" did: twist the facts to support his views. Good job building up your credibility, T0ne.

i make good credible posts. people just go into denial. for instance of i post main stream stories (BBC, NBC, etc) of some of the 19 hijackers being confirmed alive, its a wild conspiracy theory and aliens are controlling my mind.

remember how i posted the new scientist article on 100,000 iraqi civilians being killed by the war and everyone reacted violently? well in my signature is another completely seperate study that says the same thing, covered by CNN and other main stream news.

This seems to happen a lot (referring to people like Tone). There is a sea of information on the internet from every source you can imagine. Sure it is interesting to read twisted information in order to support an idea, and I see how it could be easily become a hobby of someone to do so. When you start buying into the twisted information though is when you become one of the many poor souls on here who had so much information and didn't know how to filter and logically take it in. Twisted information to prove far out there theories like a "police state" are very interesting and you almost want to believe them so that you have something very entertaining to discuss.

Tone, I see that you love to debate and discuss things that spark a contraversy, but don't let that love cloud simple logic on how to filter information and how to see information FIRST, from an open minded point of view allowing all possibilities. Until you practice this you will never be taken seroiusly among logical minds. Just another anonymous, paranoid mind polluted by a sea of misinformation.

theres nothing wrong with my logic. if the iraq body countsays around 20,000 iraq civilians died using only press reports alone (!!!) + 2 completely seperate studies say 100,000 did, then its logical that 100,000 iraqis are probably dead fromt his war.

if governments throughout history have staged terror attacks and minipulated their people using the problem-raction-solution formula and theres a thousand holes in the offical story of 9/11 and those globalist fanatics within our government are the ones who really benefit from terror and not muslims, then its logical to question 9/11

if i see news stories all of the time of excessive police state like activities then its logical for americans to be concerned

if i post a flyer that has quotes from our founding fathers compared next to quotes of twisted modern politicans saying we needed terror to build support, and its even on project for the new american century's website, then its illogical for people to react the way they have to it saying 'post something thats not so old and put your tin foil hat on'. whos the one being illogical and filtering and being selective?

This just in: anyone can publish something on the internet and claim it's a viable source. Smart people learn to not trust said sites. Best of luck managing that, Tone.

The post from "Free Zundel Now" hardly qualifies as a news story, nor did it provide the valid and pertinent information relating to the incident. It didn't even mention the fact that the arrests weren't because of the protest but for assault and from the melee that ensued when people tried to stop the police from arresting someone for the alleged assault.

Only a small portion of your sources come from what are considered to be reliable sources. Hell, you still have a "quote" attributed to me in your signature that does not reflect anything I've said. You also have a habit where you stop talking to someone once they've said something you have no counter for or that clearly proved you were wrong. That's a blow to your own personal credibility. Don't blame others if they want to tune you out. It's all a reaction to your own actions and behaviour.
