I have that too. Mine wasn't exactly free though, I got it as a deal when I had to transfer from suncom to cingular, but because of the phone, i'm now on a 2 year contract with cingular.

Good thing I'll probably get my own phone when i go off to college fall of '06

I googled the specs and that seems like a christ-expensive phone

I have a basic LG flip-phone, with nothing fancy except mp3 ringtones. Battery life used to be like 4 days, and over a year later, it's now only 2, but my friends all charge their nokias, motorolas et cetera every 2 days max.

All in all, I think LG's are nice. A friend got one with a camera on it, it's not as small as mine (mine was a small flip phone, about as big as Pavement's Nokia 3120), it's about the size of a regular flip-phone - still smaller than most - and as such also has a bigger battery than mine, so I bet that even with camera and mp3 ringtones it still gets a rad battery life.

I know about 8 or so people all with the same LG phone as each other. (Don't know the model number, but it's a large, square, flip, silver one with video calling capability. 6 of them had problems with their phone, a couple got replacements which also broke. The problems weren't the same in each phone, which to me is the sign of a crap phone. Because of this, I am never going anywhere NEAR an LG phone.

I don't know about the other brands but all those nokias suck pretty much.

The 6822 is good but ugly
