My ass is in raw shape. Mozilla is not raw.

I don't know what that means.

I don't know what that means.

          <_<

Well it basically means that mozilla is a browser without that many features... it means that it's not still "finished" it lacks the fine details that opera is known for. In order for you to have the mozilla ff with the smae features you must install lots of extensions...
I mean you will only install those features if you have already tryed it somewhere... for a user that normally uses ff it doesnt make to much sense but for someone used to navigate with Opera it means a lot.

I'm not saying ff is not worthwhile... it's MUCH beter then IE and Netscape and i would recommend it to any Opera user to try it... even if just for having the idea of how it works.

About Opera having adds... cmon buy it you are helping the community to grow and it's not that much of an expense. even if you can't afford it it's not a small add box that will make you reject it.

Funny how Firefox vs. Opera has become almost as big as PC vs. Mac.

I've used Mozilla/Firefox for a long time, and nothing out there makes me want to change that. I've tried Opera, and I just don't like how it's layed out.

The extensions for Firefox are pretty cool, but most of them are superfluous crap. There are a handful of them that I use often, though, and they aren't really available in any other browsers.

It's just 2 diff structures ... ff with the lightweight basic dl w/added extensions and opera with every feature integrated ... use whatever best works for you. My preference is ff but that's just me.

Yeah, I'm using Firefox 1.0.1 and I really have no need to upgrade. Don't feel like losing any extensions or trying to find updates.

True, I installed a bunch of extensions, and I really have no idea how i got them in the first place. I'll wait till there's a very reccomended version.

You don't lose any extensions for the most part, and everything goes quite faster.

Stab ... for me there is a noticeable improvement in speed. You do lose extensions tho =/.

Agreed. I use both- they both have advantages. What's the big deal?

Quit saying Mozilla is raw. It's obviously a finished product. Extensions are the decision they made to allow for flexibility in user customizable features. Opera's user interface is extremely customizable but you can't take features out to get to Firefox, now can you? Firefox can add extensions to get close to Opera. Didn't think of that, did you?
