because the website has Failure somewhere written on it, and that site has gotten the most hits for Failure... and I'm almost positive 'I Feel Lucky' brings up the thing that closest resembles your keyword search that also has the most hits for the keyword you're looking for.

Wow that was a horrible explanation

          Its called "Google bombing."Google it.
People who are rather more than six feet tall and nearly as broad across the shoulders often have uneventful journeys. People jump out at them from behind rocks then say things like, "Oh. Sorry. I thought you were someone else."

well I know I'm feeling lucky takes you to the first page on the search list. Just shows you can't trust google for EVERYTHING.

              from bbc.co.uk's explanation:

"The trick is possible because Google searches more than just the contents of web pages - it also counts how often a site is linked to, and with what words.

Thus, members of an online community can affect the results of Google searches - called "Google bombing" - by linking their sites to a chosen one.

Newsday newspaper says as few as 32 web pages with the words "miserable failure" link to the Bush biography."

Laugh all you want, the sad thing is you Americans voted for him, not once, but twice.

Now who gets the last laugh?
