While it lasted. I much preferred Dungeon Keepr 2 (PC) Over Fable, (They were both made by the same guy If I recall correctly)
Fable was good, but I found it sadly limiting in extended playability. Once you've clocked the game theres no other way to go. Halo, however... well, you can just randomly pick it up and keep playing. Fable sadly doesn't have that for me.

Indeed Halo is what made X-Box but buy the 360 because it will have the Japanese fanbase and games like the PS3, but graphic wise X-Box knows that they are beaten.
