I hope all of you weren't watching the MLB, or atleast had the decency to flip between channels and watch a bit of hockey. I listened to the Red Wings game and they blew out St. Louis (who by the way are looking terrible). And watched the Sens/Leafs game and was very happy to see the Sens pull off the first NHL shootout win. Anyone go to a game?

The Senators did win, but they shouldn't be too proud of their victory, even if it was over the Leafs. Based on how people rated the two teams going into the season, the Sens did not play to the level expected of them.

Thank goodness the Flyers lost to the Rangers. AM Sports Radio couldn't go off on how great the Flyers are...and they would have too, based upon 1 game.

note: there was never a true lead, as the sens got a goal. Belfour threw it out of net and the coaches didn't know to contest it so it didn't count, but the aerial view showed a clear goal.

TECHNICALLY the sens won 4-2. Good game, fuckers.

I didn't see the Flames loss coming either, and that Rangers upset was big. I think that Philly will dominate the Atlantic div nonetheless.
