GC :: best games

Guys my brother's birthday is tomorrow and I want to know what are the best gamecube games and why. He is very picky about games but very busy with school so I guess he doesn't know which new games are good. Any ideas on a gamecube game that's challenging and not too violent? If not I'll just get him a sweater. But if any of you are GC wizards please give me your top 5 and why....

metroid prime- it got 10/10 in all my magazines. supposed to be the best gc game
animal crossing-very cute game. like having a virtual community inside your gc. its awsome trust me
super mario sunshine-nice graphics. sorta like mario 64 but better.
super smash bros melee- very cool game to play with friends.
resident evil 0- graphics look gorgieous

Yay! - No hateful replys! I'm so glad about this.. like you have no idea...

So metroid prime is sposed to be the best. He already has smash bros and resident evil we rented in the summer.... I thought it was too dark to see anything so I got pist at it but games like that are no problem for my bro & company. Animal crossing looks very cutsie, maybe for Xmas.
