Has anyone read it? What do you think of the book?

BTW I am only 1/5th through, but I have heard that there are a lot of controversy about the book.

One of my friends said it best:

The author regurgitated an old conspiracy-theoryish take of the New Testament and re-worked it to fit into a modern day murder-mystery. The book isn't bad, interesting in parts, but pretty formulaic. If you walk into an airport gift store and pick anything off of the "New York Times Bestseller" wall you will be hitting in about the same area, quality wise.

Good book, i'll spoil the whole thing if you reply to this thread. Seriously I will. Like how at the end of the book jack sauniere only lead them to sophie's other ****** who she thought was ****. I'll totally uncensor that. I'm thinking of picking up angels, and demons later this week. Dan Brown is a genious, he molded a conspiracy theory into a modern day mystery.

for those who dont know .....

Da Vincis code is a book of mystery, it deals with different hidden secrets, so realistic that many ppl went to the Louvre and checked out Da vinci and other painter's works with the book in hand.

Very nice book in general, good stuff
