Help me pick a Halloween costume!

It's that time of the year again and I need a Halloween costume for next Saturday. I have a few constraints:

1) Needs to be generally made of readily available clothing, or at least stuff I can buy at a second-hand clothing store.
2) I have no sewing ability.
3) I will not order anything expensive (i.e. masks, special costumes online)
4) I can get simple hats, wigs, fake mustaches.

Anyone have any good ideas?

My top idea right now is Super Mario... but then everyone does that at least once a year so that's kind of lame.

I have to dress up for halloween too for school, so I need to come up with something. Well, three guys dressing up as the powerpuff girls would be comical, so that might work. And if not, I'll be Sagat (street fighter) because that group already wants me to be sagat.

Walking around with taped arms and feet wouldn't be so bad.

So would ponytails and skirts.

Any other ideas?

If you don't mind messing up the lab coat, roughing it up might be a good option. If your hair isn't curly, getting a good spike gel and hair spray, and then roughing your hair with a pick could be good, plus some whitish hair coloring spray. I'd find some cheap bushy eyebrows to stick on, and maybe fuzzy whitish "hair" to stick out of your ears. :P
