About 3 of my friends decided to play SS way back about 8 years ago. They played for a few months then quit (they found out about the game independent of me, so I was pretty surprized). I also got a good friend of mine to play it for a while too but he quit.

One day about 7 years ago, I randomly ran into a guy in Subspace who amazingly went to my high school. We used to bump into eachother in the halls or at lunch and talk Subspace. It actually was a lot less cool than you thought, cause my friends (who weren't so nerdy) would look at me funny and walk off, and his skater friends would have this weird expression on their face as we talked Subspace and then I just felt like a total dork.


Either way, I've met about 40 people from this game IRL, mostly from SS Convention 2000 which was in Toronto and 10 mins from my house, and of course a bunch of players who used to be on the squad Vulch such as Adman, Troll King, Slowbob, Crown of Thorns, Yungsta and others.
