Just watched it. I think the first one was better, but this one wasn't bad either. You wouldn't get the full effect of the ending if you hadn't seen the first one, either.
I thought the worst thing is that the traps didn't seem as well done. In the first one, the people always had a way to escape. They had to do some really fucked up thing, but they would live. In this one, they would pretty much die. Like in the beginning, when the guy got his head blown apart. Kinda dumb.sdgComment

and to make the first movie more funny they should have had it so he was cutting the wrong leg until he realizes it

Tarantino helped fund the film's distribution and had some input on the script. He and Eli Roth, the guy who wrote and directed it are pretty close. IMDB lists Tarantino as an executive producer.Comment

There shouldn't be a Saw III (if they are producing one). The new mastermind was thrown into a pit of hypodermic syringes. There is no way she does not HIV because of that. She had a lot of syringes stuck to her.
