maybe if you delete mine's mapping you'll shoot a bomb instead of being told you have too many mines, or maybe your computer will still beep whille you drift

Keyboard buffer.

Most keyboards have a buffer whch means only a certain amount of keys can be pressed at once. In my experience it tends to be older keyboards that are BETTER, i.e. they don't give a shit if you're holding left up right bomb thrust and shoot at the same time and just trot along on their merry way.

yep there is a limit. but how do u change it? is there a keyboard with a good limit? i dont mind buying a new one.

When I got an alternative key def I couldn't thrust and rotate left. Fucking sucks, now I still have to shark with default keys :P. Anyone know if just getting a new keyboard will fix it?

Rab, you can open it up and see which buttons are connected in the same loop, then remap and you might be able to get 6 simultaneous keystrokes (6 is max for USB-connected, with an old connector maybe 7-8) on a modern keyboard. Or, you could buy an old keyboard where you can get up to 14-15 maybe?

Or you could buy a custom made one from some company that I can't remember the name of. Anyways, they make keyboards where you can press all keys at the same time. Some computers refuse to take up that much but you'd get far over 30 no matter what.

Default settings, changed mine to caps, with a keytronic keyboard -> thrustshooting mayhem.
