What did you get this year? Particularly interested in the duff presents. I didn't really get any 'duff ones' this year except a wallet (because I already have one) and a 256mb mp3 player (again, because I already have one).

I got a pair of dolce jeans and a new tv. Also got my drivinglicense and the iPod Nano. Oh, and a new comuter at home.

My grandma gave me £20, and apart from that, absolutely nothing

my family have agreed not to buy presents for us because we're going through financial struggles, and have been for the last 3 years, when someone buys me anything all i do is feel guilty.

anywho i'll be getting a new job soon so hopefully by next christmas i can treat my family

Thought I didn't have anything, till I looked under the tree on boxing day. It was a fight Club DVD+Book. Saw it twice already ages ago but watching it again was great!

My parents bought me an abercrombie denim jacket which I still find extremely weird, but it's comfortable and I love it. Besides that, I got a big tool set, and then the essentials: boxers, socks (these socks are CRAZY comfortable by the way; anyone else wear columbia sportswear?), undershirts.

From my relatives: ramen noodles, $50 in 2-dollar bill denominations, dr. pepper, this cologne that smells really weird but in a really addictive can't-stop-smelling way, and blank cd's (with the CD's was a note: "I know you already have every CD I might consider buying you, so make up your own shit ~Uncle Paul")

Sort-of for christmas, I am paying around $200 and my parents are playing $200 and with it I'm getting a new sound system installed in my car. I chose the sound system over anything performance related because at the rate random things are failing on my car (in order of failure: fuel guage, windshield fluid nozzles, engine idling, transmission) I won't have it past college. So I wanted something I could salvage out and use in any new car I get.

Pavement got a new, nice computer (3.0 gHz dual-core pentium 4, 512 RAM, 200g hard drive, nVidia gfx), and then soccer shit. He's out of town so I've been on his computer all day, it's really fcking nice.

All in all, a typical middle class christmas I guess. Of course, we won't be spending alot for the next few months.

FYI, I bought my mother the new Kanye West CD and the new Mountain Goats CD, I got my father the new Jaga Jazzist CD and a bunch of Bob Dylan CD's because one of his Dylan records finally wore out a few weeks ago and he needs his Dylan
