One difference is the language. No, Swe and Den can talk with each other without big problems, while the finnish got a whole other language, but the kids still has to learn swedish at school, since it was occupied by the swedish once.

The Nordic Council has knitted us closer together than any countries, save perhaps Vatican City and Italy, still I see so much ignorance from people who live here. Why do so many people that live in the Nordic countries know so little about it? I thought they forced this knowledge upon you in school.
