I love The Shawshank Redemption but, for me, it has little replay value. I can watch any 3 of my top 3 over and over and still love them. I'll throw out an honourable mention to Office Space for being the best comedy ever with some great replay value.

Like Gen said, when I hear "favorite movies", I think of movies I could have (2/3 I already have) or have watched at least 3 times.
My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.

I dunno bout you guys but I've watched The Shawshank Redemption at least 5 times ... and Schindler's List at least 3. And you're talking to someone who absolutely HATES rewatching movies. Snatch I've watched at least 4 times ... and prob only a handful I've watched twice (Fight Club for ex).

I think you can't put much weight into replay value because comedies, dramas, and action movies will almost always be replayed over movies such as Schindler's List. That kinda takes away from how good a movie such as Schindler's List is.

Sidenote ... I think Momento is one of the most overrated movies ever.
