is chatting on the rise?

I was just wondering what the community stand point is on the chatting (?chats, ?messages, pub chat, private chat,) in TW these days. Do you think it has increased dramatically over the years? lessened? about the same?

Do you think staff does a good job at regulating chatters? Do you think they handle chatters in a fair and reasonable manner? or do you feel that some staff are biased and corrupt in their judgements, leaving trash talkers free to walk the streets of tw?

I've seen many people over the year chatting. Sometimes its funny, but philosophical arguments really seem out of place...
