It's not just that, its the way its set up and how it is SOOO easy to just join a game, and not only any game - a game type that you like!, and the atmosphere is so intense and fast paced...

As for Halo, I can't imagine it being done well. According to the storyline, it follows the game fairly well, but Doom tried to follow the storyline well...And that was a total bombshell. Its going to suck.

Why do people like Halo? It's story is absolute horse shit, the characters are about as two demensional as an SNES game, and the game is just a basic FPS. The multiplayer IS amazing, but that doesn't make up for the absolute BULLSHIT that they call a game.

Halo is great online, and Multiplayer, which is what the game was designed and intended for. So no, it did not fail as a video game, in fact it provided the most Multiplayer fun since Super Smash Brothers, and the most FPS multiplayer game since Goldeneye.

God damn it, I don't hate it. I just don't understand the undying love it gets. It is fun when you can frag some people for 20+ minutes, put it down, and pick up again without missing a beat. But the story is just HORRENDOUS.

silly, halo wouldnt be rated one of the best games ever if people didnt like it, therefore itsa obviously not 'Bullshit' it is a great game, atmosphere of the levels is awsome, teamwork is great, getting into a scorpion and kaining anything that moves, using a precise shot from the sniper rifle to smash the enemies visor and blow his brains accross the wall,
and using imense stealth as you stalk your pray as a covanant warrior and send him miles with a laser sword, it is, a great game. However the movie agree, might be good but only true halo fans will grow to love it, and you have missed out a great movie remake of a game, which is final fantasy, and that is a very good movie, also introducing a new way to make movies, and very high in technological standards for its time.
