Lost - The TV show...+/- ?

I've been enoying Lost. Series 1 was great, series 2 has been really good so far APART from the most recent episode. The most recent one pissed me off a treat, normally some sort of even minute part of the main plot develops in one episode, but in this one, nothing, apart from maybe Aaron and Clair getting Baptised (whoopdedoo). I guess it's just a filler episode or something. Also the one that started from Day 1 for the tail-end people was quite annoying, as it ended with the exact same scene as the one before.

You mentioned Invasion, it's pretty slow, but I'll be damned it's good, it's keeping me pretty engrossed trying to work out whether the hell Tom is good or bad. It's a lot slower than all these other American dramas (Surface, Lost, Threshold etc..) but I find it draws me in a lot. Of those 4, I probably put Lost and Invasion joint first, followed by Surface with Threshold (only seen the first 2 episodes, but it seems a mess) bringing up the rear.

I loved the start of season two, thought it had alot of nice twists and really got me wanting to watch the new episode. But now they have slowed the pace, like Ewan said with that useless episode on wednesday. I will still watch Lost till the end of the season, but i hope they dont totally kill it by using some of the recent events.

It's been said, but it's worth saying again, and again, and again. Waaaay too much "filler" for their episodes in season two. Season one had the main plot evolving twice as fast. I think the writers are making a big mistake in thinking that their viewers care THAT much about the history of the characters. Nobody wants to watch 45 minutes of an hour long program going on and on about why one of the characters would be more prone to stealing the other guy's shiney new stick.

I'm still watching though. And probably will be watching until ends (unless they add more filler to their episodes which is practically impossible).

The commercials alone are killing this program. This could be a 20 minute show if not for the commercial breaks.

I dunno...but this week sucked too....only good thing is John gets F'ed. This is the only thing I liked at least....he has become such the asswipe character IMHO.

I thought this week's episode was awesome!

I never saw any of it coming....except for Sawyer conning the woman from his past.

But, as far as the Charlie connection, and Sawyer conning everyone....I had no idea.

These last few episodes (with the exception of Charlie's) have been awesome. Kate's, Eko's, and now Sawyer's new ones have been great. After a boring first half of this season, it's cool to finally see the writers tricking us again.

Which is why Season One on DVD is so fucking vital. I loves me some LOST on DVD.

I watch the eps 3 or 4 at a time and I suppose that if you can set aside 2 and half hours every so often its a good way to watch this show, because even though you see a lot of flashbacks, the plot moves somewhat by the time you have finished seeing them all. I understand if you watch it one at a time though how you would be displeased..waiting a week and then seeing little development
