Actually, I think Volcs is complaining about the main culprits- people who KNOW how to spell, but think its cool to speak in lazy slang.

I do find it very irritating I have to admit. Its worse when you get wiggers and young teenage girls typing in that manner- its so unintelligible. Heh, what a word.

If you watched the news, this is actually becoming somewhat of an epidemic for kids these days that have grown up with the internet since an early age. Some teachers are complaining that the students are writing like this even on school assignments.
