I agree, it is hypocritical. But being a hypocrite isn't against the law. The judicial branch can only interpret so far and I think they did the right thing in this case. You should be asking your congressional representative these questions, because they're the ones it is gonna take to change things.
I agree Sarien...but being I live in Penssylvania, I have bad Congressional and Senatorial choices. As for the Senate alone...uhg...we have Rick Santorum (Wahoo Evangelical Nutcase) and Arlen (One Bullet Theory) Spector. Not much of a choice and trust me...I do write them...as well as my local Congressman. Not much happens from letters sent, but a standard reply form mail from some intern at there office.

Only way to get them out is to VOTE...and I do that as well From the Local to national levels.
May your shit come to life and kiss you on the face.

There are many things that the US government has done that is confusing to many people: selling their sea ports to the United Arab Emerance, making abortions illigal, not taking action to previous 911 intelligence and the war in the middle east which has now put them in an unstable situation which will most likely result in a civil war. I'm not dissing the US troops overseas but my personal oppinion is that the middle east should be left alone, this "War on Terrorism" is turning out to be the next Vietnam.
