What would you do with the time you've spent playing Subspace

Go tally up an approximate # of hours using ?usage on your main names, and devise another way of using that time. Convert into money if necessary. (Try and use hours you've actually PLAYED, not people like Rab or Jerome who sits in spec for 8 hours a day and plays for half an hr)

For me: ~3300 hours on bioture/reflect.
3300 * $10/hr after taxes = $33000.

I would pay off more than half of my student loans. OR... I could've spent the time developing a cure for AIDS and not get very far.

I am somewhere around 11 000 hours right now, of wich.. like 3000/4000 playing hours (could be more, could be less).. I guess I would have read more books.. done more for school and stuff... gotten better grades.. maybe even done cum laude. But I didn't.

rabbit wasn't afk for 8 hours back in 2002 when he started, he actually played 8 hours a day.

Part of that time I could have worked, age 16+. Let's say 1500 hours.

1500*7.00 = $10,500

Probably enough money to take care of a pretty good car and other amenities.

The other bit of that time I wish I'd spent learning the guitar before. I only really started to pick it up here at college where I have other people to play with.

well, if my usage is somewhere in the realm of 3000 hours, i probably was afk for about 750 hours.

so 2250 hours. if i had never installed subspace, what would i have been doing in those hours? probably still sitting in front of the computer.. probably in another game. if i hadnt been at the computer it might have been the tv. this time was meant to be unproductive.

Za recognizes the concept of down time. Most people would have really spent their time watching tv or playing a differnt game. Though, it is a good idea to have a relaxing hobby that gives you something back too.

I wish I could have put 2000 hours over 5 years into something creative like animation, oh well.
