So, what kinda of systems do you guys use to play subspace? Does this game reach your computer's "full potential?"

512mb PC2700
Nvidia GeForce 3 Ti200
Chaintec Zenith Series motherboard
Heavially moded case (Widows, LED Fans, Neons)

Tell me what you guys got what what else you can use it for. I'm fond of CS and UT2003.

Actually no, I own a computer store ... well actually I'm trying to get one started and I'm currious about what everyone uses and what kinda things I should carry. Btw, yours is piznimp $$.

heh, yeah, I'm very satisfied with it. IMO it feels bigger than an ordinary 19" plus the flat front is just so nice.

I just got a new comp on Sunday. P4 2.4 Ghz w/512 MB DDR. Went the economic route by keeping my old Radeon card and monitor until I save up for an upgrade (might just keep the monitor, and I've got my eye on an All-in-Wonder). Spent yesterday evening frankensteining parts from my old setup and re-inserting even older parts to my old computer. The money I saved on some parts let me get a setup I can afford and am happy with.

I started playing this game when i had a 1 meg video card or something like that, it was so crappy that i had to download games with crap graphics at the time, so i saw on download.com a 2D online spaceship game, with my netzero connection i had lots of fun playing and being disconnected every 10 minutes. I learned some new words back then... like "lag, laggot, Machine of Lag"

now i have cable and a 32 meg card.... i would play other games but now i am addicted to this.... and i probably never would have played it if it wasnt for my crappy old video card on my crappy old computer

i like to ramble on about stuff nobody cares about... ok bye for now
