Ok, I know some/alot of you people do coding and stuff.

Thing is I have been making this site for a friend, it's a really simple site and made in fireworks, but for uploading and stuff I had to do some finetuning in dreamweaver in the html codes (I know next to nothing about it, I just now what most html codes are and that's it). But the slighest mistake, a misplaced \ or a capital S instead of a normal s can fuck up your whole code and leave you searching for hours as to what is the problem..

My question really is, if you have done coding, did you ever have the feeling you wanted to throw your computer out the window, or have the urge to commit suicide.. I have and I have just been doing some coding for 1 evening..
Maybe God was the first suicide bomber and the Big Bang was his moment of Glory.

Yes, but not in relation to code.

yeah. Once you do it for awhile though you normally find errors like that really quickly. Although I've wasted hours before because I mispelled the name of something. That one really pissed me off.

If you program, at points you will want to do acts of extreme violence at times because the damn fucking thing doesn't work and you just don't know why.

If you feel enough satisfaction after you DO solve the problem you encountered then maybe it could be worth it. It's also part of the learning process, you can't really learn much without mistakes.

What he said. But I never felt satisfaction after fixing my mistakes. I found coding to be boring and annoying, so I moved on.

Mmm I love coding, and it's great to find my mistakes because I'll never make them again. Once I was talking to someone online and they couldn't get their program to work. So they pasted it to me and I found the problem. The funny thing is, it was written in a language I didn't even know and had never even seen, but I could still find the mistake. ^-^

Basically if you have a problem (namely HTML) send it to me and I'll look for it, haha. Some people like untangling Christmas lights, I enjoy searching through coding.

as far as i know, html is not keysensetive, so s and S will be handeled the same way. unless you link to a file though..

but yes, i have been sitting for hours with several languages. its usually ok in a language that have a good compiler, like c# or java. it normally tell you what's wrong. its worse in languages as assembly or perl. where you dont always get the info you need to find you mistake..

I've done a lot of HTML and CSS works before, and tried several other coding. Sometimes it gets frustrating when the code is complete nonsense but that's the way it has to be. Other times, it gets difficult to create websites with browser and resolution compatibility. But most of all I feel like I want to murder my computer when it crashes on me and I'm doing something important.
