Well instead of posing the question "do you think the world is worth saving?" to a public audience, maybe a better question would be "do you want to be saved?" After reading your post you made it seem like, though I know it's not your intention, that only certain people are worth saving like Pearl Jam said.
The problem here is still with the quantifier "worth." What does that mean, and how do we measure whether a person, let alone the world, is "worth" saving? What is the criteria?
