Sony Fakes Blu-Ray Demo w/ Normal DVD-R

I found this funny. Apparently at a viao launch party for their new blu-ray playing laptop, the movie they demoed (complete with blu-ray casing) was a DVD-R of House of Flying Daggers they were trying to pawn off to the execs there as a "blu ray" copy. Lol .. good shit.

There were two laptops. One had a DVD-R, one had a blu-ray disc.

A reporter just grabbed the blu-ray case, grabbed the DVD, and voila! Instant bad press!

(other photos show that there are clearly two laptops set up, so above explanation, Sony's claim, has some cred)
