Always tell management in a situation like this, even if they don't act on anything (which is possible) it's a good idea, because then if somethign does happen, especially if it involves you, you can say you warned them. It's like the other day my friend got pasted by this other guy we know, he reported it to the police, he didn't press charges, but he reported it, because that way if it happens again, it's not just some 'one time thing' and he'll sue the pants off the guy.

As far as I know, I'm the only one that Bob harrasses. But then again, most of the people that work there are guys or girls that are overweight. Working at a grocery store isn't exactly glamorous so there aren't many girly girls working there, so I don't know if how he acts towards other employees would act as a factor.

I think I will tell management about him. For now I'm ok most of the time. He gets off at 5 and I usually start at 5. During the summer though we'd be working the same times probably, and I realllly don't want that to happen.

I still can't help but feel like I'm overreacting. But then again, that conversation I posted up there was from the first time we had ever even been together at work. I'd seen him before two times tops, but I hadn't gotten promoted yet so we were never near each other. The only reason we were there at the same time was because I got called into work early.

So yea, the response is overwhelmingly to tell someone, but I still can't help but feel I'm making a mountain out of a molehill.

you dont have to assume responsibility for this guy's problem. this guy should not have a job where hes working around women, end of story. while he might not be a physical threat to you, theres really no way of telling. if two months from now you found out he assaulted some other girl at work, you wouldnt be proud of yourself for not turning him in. i could see where youd feel weird about getting him fired if he kept saying "shes really pretty i want to ask her out" even though that in itself would be enough to get him fired if he kept saying it, but "i want to bang her" is pretty damn bad. if he says it to you, hes probably saying it to customers as well, and at that point hes risking more than just getting fired. there are other jobs he can do where hes not around women, he needs to find one of those.
