Bad luck

Alright, horrible luck.

I've never had to deal with death before, no pets or family members have ever died in my time.

I wake up one morning and my 7 year old cat has had a heart attack, it had a previous heart condition. That's one death.
18 days later I'm just slightly starting to get over my cat and my dog dies in the backseat of my car when I haven't seen him for 4 days.
My dog had liver cancer, and had a huge tumor on the inside of his stomach.

The day that my dog dies, my mother gets horrible food poisoning and is sick for ages.

This is some pretty fucking horrible luck.

Freak, a couple months ago, my dog died. Black Lab, he was eleven and a half years old. I'd had him since I was like 19. I miss him now, and I probably always will. He died from heart failure, kind of collapsed, and just died in my arms before anything could even be done.

Only thing you can do really is just keep grounded and get further away from it having happened. It doesn't get easier when you think about it, you just get further away from it, and think about it less often.

Edit: You can call it being a dick, or abusing my power, or anything your little heart desires. But I am being honest here. If you have something shitty to say on this kind of topic, it's probably gonna hurt me too because of my own recent experience. I'm going to keep a close eye on this thread, so just try being decent, people. Just try. We could all use the practice.

I can remember, Scooter, the cat we had since I was like two, who died... I don't remember how old I was at the time, but I was pretty young, probably.. hmm, I'm 20 now and my current cat which we got after Scooter is 13.. So I was around seven years old. One day, after returning from the baby sitters (we took the bus to the sitters after school until our mom got us at 4:30 when she got back from work) and I went down to the cellar (where the laundry is and also a bigger freezer) and I saw Scooter down there and he was foaming at the mouth... I ran upstairs and told my Mom and she took him to the vet, who use to live and have an office a couple houses down the street. They ended up putting him to sleep, because he apparently had consumed some type of poison, and we figured out it was either this green stuff that drips from the piping in the cellar, or the recently-purchased poinsettias we had. Needless to say, we got rid of the poinsettias and now have like a bucket filled with kitty little where the green shit drips to prevent that from reoccuring, but it really sucked being that young and seeing my cat like that, and then knowing he got put to sleep.

Two years ago we had this great dog. Well when my other dog is around she can get a little crazy and bloodthirsty. She ended up attacking on of our kittens and killing it. Very sad So we all ignored her and didn't pet her for a week because of what she did. And then she got hit by a car. After none of us had paid attention to her and gotten to say goodbye.

It sucked

Along time ago i used to have a small turtle.. i brought it outside for a walk... it ran into the grass and didnt come back >_<

then about 3 years ago i got a small fishie.. i think i forgot to feed it..but one day it was upside down..and i think my mom flushed him down the toilet

so now i have an algae.. though it hasnt moved for months...
