Ratty and his midget fetish never ceases to amuse. As for you Genocidal, I understand what you're saying but I think that you too have missed my point. Don't worry though, it'll come to you. Arguing with Ratty only goes so far as he is more interested in getting the first word, and in having the last word, than anything else. You know there's no real use in arguing with him, yet there's something about engaging him that seems almost necessary. It's like walking into a public washroom and saying: "hey, what stinks?"

how many times do you see one asian tell another asian they're tiny in a condescending way?
And the poor guy has nothing else to talk about but America, I'm pretty sure he's got napolean/small dick syndrome but jeez- sit back and relax chief. So much anger in such a small boy.My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.

Take a look at this Call of Duty Wii screenshot. The game is still in the making so expect crispier graphics. But look at the way you use your controler to aim with the rifle. That is just so amazing in my eyes. A game is one thing but playing this way is definetly going to make you feel like you are in the actual game.

Also Ratty, do consider this for a second. We "stupid Americans" are by far the largest video game market in the world. We have the most consumers who have the most money, who are most willing to buy games to waste their time with. Being that you are a prospective PS3 owner, it should alarm you that many of us "morons" aren't willing to shell out the money to purchase the PS3. I mean, think about it. If America, the largest video game nation in the world, stops buying Sony products, then Sony is going to lose money. That money could have otherwise gone to game development, or purchasing the rights to already proven successful game franchises. Instead, because many of us "cheap" Americans refuse to pay $600, Sony is going to finish last in the Next Gen console race. As a result, someone like you, who is apparently getting the PS3 for a better deal than any of us are, is going to suffer, because the money to create new and exciting titles, while maintaining the old staple crops isn't going to be there. So enjoy your PS3, and your spite for Americans, because in a year all it's going to get you is Super Monkey Ball 4.Originally posted by ToneWomen who smoke cigarettes are sexy, not repulsive. I thought they did their best to convince the world that the ps3 is a computer because gaming consoles have some kind of tax that computers don't.
And while I may be wrong I believe japan is a bigger market than usa for console games.Jesus Christ on a pogo stick

Population check-
5. United States 298,444,215 July 2006 est. (298 million)
12. Japan 127,463,611 July 2006 est. (127 million)
118. Norway 4,610,820 July 2006 est. (4 million)

I dunno Bilbo, although the entire nation doesn't play videogames, we have almost twice the amount of people in regards to Japan's population. Gamers are getting older and sticking with their hobbies, getting their kids hooked on consoles and so on.
If we were talking RPG's or Sony consoles, then yes definately. I'm not sure about consoles in general though. My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. The best selling videogame market worldwide right now is technically be "handhelds" not "consoles" (yet still, they both do the same fucking thing).
In Japan we have something like nearly 8 million DSes sold and nearly uh 3? million PSPes sold, maybe its 2, in any case they've combined sold at least 10 million units and this isn't even counting the amount the gba has sold over the years, also most games in the weekly top10 are DS or PSP titles with PS2 inbetween them.
Here in America last I heard both of them have sold almost 4million each which barely brings the total to 8 million and I'm pretty sure we buy less software for those as well. Of course, the fact we haven't bought as much in spite of having nearly twice the amount of people is most likely because Americans only rush out in droves to buy a videogaming machine if its a home console, that is if you don't include the GBA which I understand is still selling fairly ridiculously, unit wise, at least more than the amount the two newer handhelds have sold here combined, maybe twice or three times as much.
HOWEVER, the fact that the issue in being outbought being a "it's just handhelds" matter alone is debatable, while we have nearly twice the population as the island, I'm quite certain the ratio of that population that is geared towards videogaming in general (not to mention beingr ather serious about such a matter) is significantly smaller than that of Japan's and has always been so, I don't know what all the sales were like between the two countries across time but I'm willing to bet Japan has always either bought just as much as us if not more at times (like right now for example).sage
