my friends and i raised a baby bird once, it learned to fly and eat on its own, and eventually it lived outside but would come to us if we called it and it would say "eeeeeeeee". it drowned in hurricane ivan, which was very sad. i dont really know if you could develop the same type of relationship with a bat, but it would be badass if you could.
