Mp3 players and headphones

i had a $40 gift certificate to the sharer image; which means i would still have to spend like $700 to get anything decent, so i got the cheapest thing i could find: earbuds that light up and pulsate to the beat of your music. i got the neon blue...and the sound quality is crap, they are bulky and pretty much stupid and pointless. but...with forty bucks to blow, what the hell. the lights DO work though, and i'm the only person i know who has a pair....

the point being, i am perfectly happy with my iPod, and the earbuds that came with it. i know people want mp3 players that just play music, but my photo library on my iPod actually saved my ass in a job interview once. i had left my portfolio at home, and i actually had 90% of my images saved onto my iPod which happened to be in my pocket.

im still not sure what the point of my post was.
