Well usually when you see game characters kiss the animation just sucks, so I guess they haven't done it only because it's god-awful to animate people making out, especially if they have hair. Might be a thing for the next-gen consoles.

Yeah, sadly my cousin has this game on his computer. But the reason why games don't show enough sex is because of the ESRB ratings and censorship guidelines. Frankly, game developers need money, and if their game is rated AO (adults only) then there is a good chance that the game won't do shit for their income. There are games out there that appeal to the videogamers such as yourself, but they aren't really endorsed nor introduced into the gaming community. Also, like miku said, video games do a poor job of visually reproducing sex.

I've always thought sex or sexuality has never been properly shown in games. I'm not talking about hardcore porn so much as physical expressions of love. Nothing irritates me more than playing games that have indepth plots (often RPG's) involving a love story between two characters and the most they ever show is a kiss on the cheek. It just doesn't make sense and following a series of grown-up storyline events with scenes of 12 year old affection comes across as ridiculous.

Well, there are ESRB regulations limiting what you can visually depict, which has little to do with the game companies' actions themselves, but as for manifestations of love and sex... maybe you mean jRPGs? Western games have had love and sex for a while now. To pick one example out of a hat, Baldur's Gate 2 (which Lemon is nearing the end of) has both in spades.
