If you are old enough to know who Johnny Cash is (the singer, not a screen name of any kind). Well, he has come out with a new single. It is a remake of the Nine Inch Nails song "Hurt" This is composed of an acoustic guitar and piano. The music video is excellent, along with the remake of the song. This is really worth checking out, if you are a Johhny Cash Fan, Nine Inch Nails Fan, or just a music lover.

it is about time someone old remade a new song. my favorite nirvana song is the man who sold the world which is a remake. i am also a fan of johnny cash, my fav from him is folsom prison blues performed live at folsom prison, i love it when he sings "i shot a man in reno" you can hear the convicts cheering.

Not to offend anybody, and i know he's a legend or whatever.... but my God did he butcher that song... I'm not much of a NIN fan, but... he's old! he's crying! he's old! his voice is horrible! he's old! seriously, i've heard better cover songs come from Richard Cheese.

You're right, he only has 4 platinum and 6 gold albums. And this is like late 1950's-1970's. And he only had two singles on Billboard, yearly, for 30 consecutive years. And it's not like he didn't have 25 songs on Billboard for two years straight, between 1958 and 1960. But he doesn't have many hits, you're so right.

I Walk the Line was the one I was thinking of, ty....... This guy who used to come in at lunchtime and get soup at the cafe I used to work at brought his massive Johnny Cash album collection in one time.... he was quite the case.. I don't know all of JC's material but I notice he has one of those seksi growly voices..... If you want to hear a smokin' new singer check out Jane Monheit if you like jazz....
