on a more serious note, you will notice i rarely, if ever, post out in anger on these forums: only when directly provoked, or something i refer to as, depending on the TYPE of annoyance, "the TONE clause" or "the TH@ KILL@ clause", which gives me unbridled flamewar powers

edit: and on a second thought, i think it's funny how you use the 'nickelback sucks' metaphor when the 'mars volta sucks' 'opinion' is what got us here in the first place. i'm guessing, if you had to ask, that as far as colonel's track record goes on reviewing things, he is not only a party pooper, but usually provices poor analysis and little, if any, actual substance to the thread topic at hand. it's one thing if he, you know, stated reasons WHY he didn't like a certain thing - i actually wind up leaning negative myself on the mars volta topic, but i don't post TMVSUX, i provide some reasons as to why i might dislike it. i appreciate you standing up for the guy, but seriously, perhaps next time you should stand between him and his 'post reply' button. you'd do more good.

Seriously dude, I'm not making people feel bad about themselves, I'm just sort of let the bad expose itself - constructive criticism, if you will. Like how you assuming Colonel is calling me smart is completely wrong and leads me to believe you actually haven't read this thread. I post my opinion of the movie, Colonel posted his, which is the opposite. Sarien posts one like Colonel's, Colonel calls him smart. Nowhere did he claim I was smart at all.

But yeah, I respect your intent to not bring me into this, but honestly, I don't see how LB's posts are any worse than mine.

I am growing up, I'm loads more mature than I was when I got here- which is why I'm trying to tell you to not worry about anything I say here. Colonel is your friend, right? You like to hang out with him regardless what people say, so why even get your panties in a twist when someone on an internet message board says something negative about him? It's fine if you want to voice your opinion but you're going to have to eventually realize there are things you can't change; you can either accept them and move on or continue to whine and complain about them.
