K, just watched the premiere to Season 6 called "Zod." My history with Smallville is i've been watching all of the re-run Season 1 episodes every Saturday for 2-3 months, and watching the Season 5 re-runs for about 3-4 months on Thursdays, and decided to keep going into Season 6 (love the show). Thought it was fantastic, for anyone who watches and is knowledgable about the subject, i have a few questions!
So what's the deal. Is the "S" that Superman wears a symbol that stands for Superman, because you know S is the first letter in Superman? Or is it a Kryptonian symbol that can possibly represent the house of El, because i remember the episode where Clark first meets the Professor played by Christopher Reeve and he shows Clark the symbols, there are a ton of those S's. And then the Zod episode, Jor-El's weapon given to Kyra was the same symbol, can someone give me some info?
Also, wasn't it a bit strange how when Lana asked questions the all-mighty Zod just answered to her without any hesitation, even if it was top secret he decided to tell her anyway, maybe because she's human and he thinks of her as a lesser being(even though she is) than he is, and completely underestimates us(humans).
All in all, what'd you think of the episode? Loved the fight scene between Clark and Zod, thought it was stupendous, was kind of funny considering before i turned it on, Superman II was on channel 341, so i watched the end of it where Zod fights Superman in the fortress, and the corny fight scene, comparing that to what we saw tonight was such a, i don't know what better word to use but: pleasant relief.
Discuss, talk, whatever!
