maybe people fear that those countries will have nuclear weapon because they have dictatorship\theocracy\tyranny goverment and not a Democracy one? such a goverment that can do whatever they want not caring even about what the people in their own country think? like japan and germany in WW2 for example?

amazing that even after two world wars people are still so naive, and it was only 60 years ago.

and btw, iran said many times that israel should be destroied. a very peaceful country develope nulcear, we shouldnt worry at all right?

Kim Jong-Il isn't crazy... he's quite rational in fact, and basically every world leader or diplomat who's ever visited him has said that.

I'm totally there with you. I mean, he needed a movie made about him, so he kidnapped a director. The food on the train sucked, so he kidnapped and then flew in a chef who he knew to be talented. The 300 story tower building project ran out of money, so rather than let the citizens beleive him to be incompetant, he did the logical thing and made it illegal to be made reference to.

Eh, it's not so much that people are afraid that places like North Korea and Iran will actually use the nukes, it's more about the level of power that comes with them. Nukes are a status symbol, a bargining chip that says "hey, you can't ignore me" for a country. If Iran and North Korea develop nukes, they can't be brushed aside any more, they have to be taken seriously. Not too many over in the US like that idea.
