    Rumsfeld resigns...about f'n time!

    Rummi has decided to step down as Secretary of Defense. Bob Gates (ex. CIA Chief) takes over.

    Maybe the Decider and Chief will have to listen to someone other than the idiots he surrounds himself with.

    This will hopefully be the best thing to happen for the Troops in Iraq. Not that I like Gates, but at least he is not a senile old fool still living in 1942.

        Now, Bush can replace him with whoever he wants. If he'd waited, the House/Senate would have had a say.

                          He has to be approved by the House & Senate. Until then Don Rumsfeld is still in charge. His stepping down will be official upon Gates being accepted as his replacement.
