Cruise selection

im thinking of getting on a cruise to the carribeans or wherever else. I'm thinking of either going with the norwegian lines or the royal carribeans, reason being is their relatively cheap prices.

Im just wondering if any of u guys could give me some tips wut to and not to take, and the best prices/ports

I go on Royal Caribbean. The only downside is, it's mainly for old people. But it's more laid back. If you want a "party" cruise, take Carnival.

I'd go for the norvegian. Much more to see and I think they're less crowded than the Carribean ones.
Also Norway and the Scandinavian region are less touristic.
If you want to go for wallpaper-nature, take the norvegian cruise. If you want old people nagging about how cold it is on deck, go for the carribean one.

Going to the nothern coast line of South America is perhaps what you will enjoy too, as you wanted something relative cheap. Equador, Colombia and Venuzuela (although americans aren't very populair over there) are nicer than you would think. Over there, things are not so super touristic as the caribbean islands. You will have the same climate (weather & beaches) as the caribbean islands.

Perhaps give it a thought.

I went on Royal Caribbean... it was great. I went during spring break, so it was pretty much a party boat.

royal carribean is mainly old people?

The prices are pretty cheap if i order now, but i think im gonna wait till they become last min kinda thing. It'll be pretty sweet if i can save like $200
