Last wednesday before I left for seeing my relatives (better that they not know I smoke), figured it was a good time to stop, as I'd been meaning to get around to it for a while. I was not a super heavy smoker, 3 or so years steady, about half a pack a day near then end. Went cold turkey, haven't given it a second thought.
Yesterday my friend was like 'here hold this,' and gave me her lit cigarette as she ran inside to get something (it slipped her mind that I had quit). I think that might bother a lot of people who just stopped, but I wasn't really tempted.
I don't get it, maybe I have a lot of willpower or something, but it doesn't seem hard to me. I figure I'll start back if I ever feel like it when I have enough money.
I wonder if I could get rich doing tobacco studies.
