Hmm... I think I'll take this moment to readjust and reiterate my previous post. (Since I'm doing some research in this area anyway)

Firstly, I don't think that is you can call it a generalization when one's making a statement about only a portion of a population. Now, if she said that all Americans are fat, that would be a generalization.

Secondly, a U.S. Department of Health funded examinations survey found that 32 percent of Americans are overweight. A CNN survey however found that 80 percent of Americans are overweight, basing their results on 1100 people's body mass index. Meanwhile, a study at the University of Colorado found that 54% of Americans are overweight, and they predict that the number will continue to increase dramatically over the next few generations. So depending on which data you follow, and what definition you use for "overweight", one could say that Telc@t is indeed correct in her statement.

Thirdly, DoTheFandango made a generalization on Telc@t first, claiming that she is an American wannabe.

Now, as much as I find Telc@t goes out of her way to be annoying, I think she, and anyone else, deserves to be supported when people are incorrectly claiming she's wrong.


P.S. Incidentally, I doubt that Midget Trent is Annux, as you concluded in another thread. It's not his style. This guy is trying too hard to be like Annux, but like Annux2, is far from being the real thing.
