  • George W's speech today

He was supposed to talk about the new plan in Iraq, and the new war strategy. He did neither or those things.

    He doesn't really have a plan. <_<

It has occurred to me that his speeches are a lot like xanga posts... the ones that say a lot without saying anything at all...

He already made note that he would not make any choices or decisions until after the holidays now. He has other reports and suggestions from many other sources that he is still waiting to hear from.

Not to use a TV show to compare this Idiot president, but on the show 24, Jack always makes mention in almost every episode that "you need to have a contingency plan!"

Bush never had a plan...in fact Cheney was telling the press of how we would be seen as liberators with parades in the streets as the people throw flowers at the troops going up the streets to Bahgdad.

The entire Bush administration is a group of f'n idiots. The only plan they had from day one that the retard Republican followers jumped on board with was a three word comment. "Stay The Course" that is just such a great slogan...NOT. F'n retard President he is. he lies to the people on a constant basis, not to leave out the last move congress did two Saturdays ago that was censored from the U.S. press/media:

The US Congress has voted in favour of allowing the export of civilian nuclear fuel and technology to India for the first time in 30 years.

Nukes are Ok’d for India…but you won’t see it in our censored press

This was front page news on the BBC, yet there is no mention in the American press in regards to this vote of approval. A story such as this should be of some importance one would think? Could it possibly be that the the owners of such news outlets in the U.S. control and censor what they want the U.S. public to read and hear? The Nation can create an uproar and fine it’s media outlets for using words and pictures; Nuclear information does not apply? I will let you decide. The following notes the ownership of our so called reliable news agencies:

GENERAL ELECTRIC –(donated 1.1 million to GW Bush for his 2000 election campaign)

    Television Holdings:
    * NBC: includes 13 stations, 28% of US households.
    * NBC Network News: The Today Show, Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, Meet the Press, Dateline NBC, NBC News at Sunrise.
    * CNBC business television; MSNBC 24-hour cable and Internet news service (co-owned by NBC and Microsoft); Court TV (co-owned with Time Warner), Bravo (50%), A&E (25%), History Channel (25%).
    The “MS” in MSNBC
    means microsoft
The same Microsoft that donated 2.4 million to get GW bush elected. Other Holdings:
    * GE Consumer Electronics.
    * GE Power Systems: produces turbines for nuclear reactors and power plants.
    * GE Plastics: produces military hardware and nuclear power equipment.
    * GE Transportation Systems: runs diesel and electric trains.
Is our nation that blind to the actions of the U.S. Government, when international news agencies can report on such topics?

Additional information regarding this decision notes:

Previously, the US had opposed Indian nuclear activities because it has not signed the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), and has twice tested nuclear weapons, in 1974 and 1998.

It is no wonder that countries such as Iran and N. Korea see the U.S. as being hypocritical on such an issue. The question that comes to mind is: why is it ok for India but not them? At least that is how I would perceive this if I was from Iran or N. Korea. The fact that this story was kept out of our news is also alarming to me, noting that it seems that it is more important for corporate interest and monies to be made, rather than the so-called fight for world peace and democracy. If this is Democracy at work, I can only see the contradictive and selfishness of those that will be awarded contracts leading to money making deals. It doesn’t matter if creates turmoil and further war and destruction to and around our planet.

Here is a bit more information in regards to the ownership of our American FREE press:

    * Sports: LA Dodgers, LA Kings, LA Lakers, National Rugby League.
    * Ansett Australia airlines, Ansett New Zealand airlines.
    * Rupert Murdoch: Board of Directors, Philip Morris (USA). *(Phillip Morris donated 2.9 million to George W Bush in 2000)*

Basically the entire nation’s media outlets are censored from news such as this story. The BBC was able to publish the India deal, due to what it would seem, the BBC is not in any part owned by the above noted companies. Thank god!

ABC did have this article on its site, but you have to search for it, as this is not headline news for the front page. It was found using their search engine. It showed up under the REUTERS world news link.

The Senate approved the measure unanimously following its passage late on Friday by the House of Representatives, 330-59. It now goes to President George W. Bush for his signature. The Bush administration and its allies contend that civil nuclear commerce to expand electricity generation in India will foster a broad range of ties with the world’s largest democracy — a rising South Asian power — and open up billions of dollars in trade for U.S. companies.Critics decried the bill as a historic mistake that would undermine U.S. efforts to curb the spread of nuclear weapons.

Keep in mind that there is a stipulation as noted above:

India has made clear that the final agreement must not bind it to supporting the US policy on Iran, and does not prevent it from developing its own fissile material

I am worried about the directions this nation is moving. The U.S. has two faces…one of Democracy and Freedom & the other face is of Corporate Interest and the Big Monies that can be made by the contacts awardedthrough exploitation of peoples on a global scale.

When our media’s front page news is dominated by stories such as: Bette on Britney, Airplane forced to land due to Woman’s flatulent problem, Who’s the real father of Anna Nicole’s baby…I just want to puke. Not to be long winded in this forum entry, but when one reads and takes note of the following:

The deal reverses 30 years of U.S. policy that, until July 2005, opposed nuclear cooperation with India because the country developed nuclear weapons in contravention of international standards and never signed the Non-proliferation Treaty, or NPT.

A multi-million dollar lobbying campaign by India and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce was largely successful in preventing Congress from adding non-proliferation requirements Delhi found too burdensome or unfair.

Lobbyist are at it again, like this is something new? They have their hands in the pockets and wallets of our nations politicians. Noting the hypocrisy on the passing of such legislature, along with the world turmoil seen and heard daily, it makes me wonder why this can happen, as well as why nobody else is upset with such actions on our government’s decisions & policies? It’s interesting that the majority of this nation is offended with Britney flashing herself and Janet showing boob. That this type of offensiveness can reign superior over the well being of our nation and world because we believe in morals…morals? The selfish destruction of the planet would seem trivial at this point. This world deserves everything it is getting at the moment and it only looks as if it will get worse. One can only imagine what our children and grandchildren will be facing in the future due to our actions of today!

His cabinet actually announced yesterday that he wasn't going to make a comment on Iraq until after the first of the year.

So, technically, he wasn't really breaking any promises or anything.

EDIT: Damn it, 404. Too quick.
Music and medicine, I'm living in a place where they overlap.
