I don't even get why you people get snow days. 2 weeks back we had a huge storm over here (404 posted about it I think) no schools closed, last week Thursday we had massive snowfall, no schools closed. Last week we had no school on Monday or Tuesday, a two hour delay on Wednesday, and one hour delays on Thursday and Friday. This was because of the cold.
This week we got this gigantic snow storm. We were off yesterday and today, and probably tomorrow as well. My county is under a level 3 emergency, so we aren't even allowed to drive. That's what happens when you live in the country and they don't plow the roads
We only got like 8 inches of snow, but then it started freezing rain all day long. That's what really screwed us over; everything is covered in ice.
Not only was my high school closed, so was the college I attend! I wasn't going to go anyway, because my car sucks in the snow.Pandagirl!
