I used to go on here all the time while I was tuning my skills on photoshop. I was also registered in www.climb-x.com.

I used to have an ASCII frontpage for a webcomic I did.

And thanks alot dude, I totally love Spoono but haven't been in YEARS. Holy shit this place has a totally new design and a shotton of more tutorials. Thanks ;P

    started a topic Photoshop

    Photoshop

I just downloaded photoshop after an extended absence from the tool.

I've browsed tutorial sites but it's all really, really bad.

I know you guys have a relatively good taste of what's good webdesign - Old TW.org versus new TW.org, for example.

    http://zardo.us

See, that's the website. That's it. I used to have a sprawling catacomb of blogs, forums, files, and such - but it's all gone. Luckily most of the important stuff (read: Nubile Steve) was saved elsewhere, but the rest is buh-bye betsy.

Anyways, I feel like... doing something, just because I can. Does anyone have a good link to a GOOD tutorial / skills site? Any advice on what tools in photoshop to play with? I used to almost exclusively use Blending options and ghetto vectoring, and have also dabbled in pixel art, and pixel art is probably where I'll start.

Also, if anyone feels like tossing out ideas or, hell, helping me, then it would be pretty neat. On my old website, the player formerly known as Musashi and I used to build random projects that never went anywhere, but were great for portfolio purposes. He's off and out of school and doing webdesign for pro now, so I've been hankering to grab a new buddy and go nuts.
Working...
